Mouais... Charlotte tu nous fais quoi? Einh? Juste un pantalon japonais avec un élastique? Pas de fermeture éclair, pas de poches? Ok, Charlotte a opté la solution de facilité... et elle l'assume. Oui, car c'est un pantalon tout simple certes, mais un pantalon au goût de Charlotte: un pantalon "ninja" noir... Et puis des tuniques, des tuniques, Charlotte ne va pas coudre que des tuniques, n'est-ce pas Tatalie? Donc ça donne ça:

Mmmm... What are you doing Charlotte? Huh? Just a pair of japanese pants with an elastic waistband? Not even a zip, no pockets? Ok, Charlotte took it easy and... isn't even ashamed. Yes, it's a very simple pair of pants, but it's Charlotte's style: a pair of "ninja" pants... Plus, tuniques and tuniques, Charlotte isn't just going to sew tops... So here it is:

Et puis ça tombe bien car le tissu choisi est un mélange de coton et lin (60% et 40% je crois), ce qui lui donne une bonne tenue (le lin tout seul, ça se froisse un peu trop puis il faut repasser les vêtements ça ressemble plus à rien en fin de journée... surtout pour Charlotte! donc ce mélange est nickel). Bon allez, ok, je vous montre :)

This is a pattern extracted from the above book which is the Pochée Special Cotton & Linen, which is for the best because the fabric I chose is a blend of cotton and linen (60% cotton and 40% linen), it falls down really nicely (linen is good, but it crinkles too much and you have to iron it and by the end of the day, linen does not look any good on Charlotte so this blend is perfect). Ok I'll show you now...

Vous avez même eu droit à des acrobaties de ninja! Non mais c'est juste pour crâner, pour vous montrer comment il tombe trop bien mon tissu... héhéhé

Verdict: essai concluant à refaire et à améliorer (envie de poches pour mettre les mains dans les poches, et une derrière pour faire classe) mais qui ne compte pas car pas d'emmanchures... réconciliation à petits pas... Allez, pour le projet suivant, y'aura des manches. Oups, croisons les doigts.

So what's the verdict? It's a good pattern and I'd like to do it again and improve it (with pockets, and a bound pocket at the back how classy would that look? I can't believe I don't even know the French term for bound pocket!)... but this project doesn't count as it doesn't have armholes, so the next one will have sleeves, fingers crossed, and we might talk about reconciliation then...
